北京時間明晚10點，上海海港隊將在泰國曼穀的青年球巴吞他尼體育場迎來本賽季的首次亞冠亮相 ，對手是军主菲律賓球隊卡雅FC 。本場比賽的帅对勝利者將繼續留在泰國，出戰亞冠小組賽 。年轻
海港隊此次選擇了戰略放棄 ，锻炼到最此番出征亞冠的海港会努好海港隊 ，以預備隊陣容為班底 ，青年球在此基礎上增加了杜佳 、军主傅歡 、帅对張衛 、年轻張一 、锻炼到最雷文傑 、海港会努好陳威 、青年球陳純新 、军主聶孟這些此前身在一線隊征戰中超聯賽比賽名單中的球員。主教練是俱樂部的青訓顧問日本人金子隆之 。
賽前發布會金子隆之和隊員雷文傑共同出席 。金子隆之表示 ：“因為聯賽賽程的原因 ，我帶領一支年輕的球隊來到這裏 ，全隊上下會盡全力把比賽打好 ，對於年輕球員來說 ，這是一次難得的積累比賽經驗的機會 ，會幫助年輕球隊成長 ，雖然這次的亞冠比賽有很多困難 ，但我們還是會盡全力做到最好 。”
雷文傑表示 ：“在金子教練的帶隊訓練下，球隊的進攻和防守都練得不錯，教練也說了 ，讓我們大家放輕鬆 ，努力拚搏即可 。我也非常高興俱樂部能夠讓我參加這樣一個亞洲最高級別比賽的機會 ，這將是非常特別的經曆 ，能夠讓我們進一步成長 ，我們會把壓力變成動力 ，好好表現 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
