2022年4月15日 ，教练降工亞冠聯賽首場小組賽 ，组罚资球員關浩津在比賽期間嚴重犯規 ，广州被紅牌直接罰出場 ，队官嚴重違反了《廣州足球俱樂部球員“三九”隊規》。浩津教練組管教不嚴 ，染红嚴重違反了《廣州足球俱樂部教練組“雙十”隊規》。通报為從嚴管理 ，懲前毖後 ，經俱樂部研究決定 ：
一 、給予球員關浩津通報批評並立即開除的處分 。
二 、給予教練組通報批評 ，主教練降三級工資 ，助理教練降一級工資的處罰 。
俱樂部將堅持嚴字當頭 ，管字為先，堅定實施優勝劣汰、獎罰分明的長效機製 。希望每一位球員嚴格遵守“三九”隊規 ，每一位教練員嚴格遵守“雙十”隊規 ，以強烈的榮譽感 、責任感 、團隊意識和進取心 ，嚴於律己 ，嚴格管理，刻苦訓練 ，為實現新賽季目標奮勇拚搏 。
