2013年 ，磊去力剛衝超的挪威能英上海東亞隊前往西班牙集訓 ，踢了高水平的踢球太陽杯邀請賽 。有一場上海東亞隊2比1勝特羅姆瑟隊 ，超效武磊梅開二度 ，媒体當時的武磊其實很全麵 ，腳下有球能力不錯 。當時對方教練就是現在剛從曼聯下課的索爾斯克亞 。
賽後 ，索爾斯克亞以為我是俱樂部工作人員 ，直接問我 ：“你們的7號身價多少，我很喜歡他 ，如果來我這裏踢一年 ，我感覺他可以前往英超踢球 。”
索爾斯克亞其實並沒有吹牛 ，沒多久俱樂部的老總 、一個60多歲的眼睛男來找我了，我告訴他們要找俱樂部 。然後 ，這哥們還真的跟隨上海東亞飛到香港 ，看武磊踢賀歲杯 。無奈，當時徐根寶指導和上海市明確了631目標 ，第一年中超不可能賣掉武磊 ，而且老帥認為挪威聯賽高舉高打不適合身材一般的武磊 ，最後也婉拒了 。
當時 ，根寶的說法是：“如果索爾斯克亞是曼聯主帥，或者如果對方是巴薩 ，我肯定放你走 。”最終，武磊確實去了巴塞羅那 ，不過不是巴薩 ，是另外一支西班牙人隊 。一切都是天意 。
