中場休息時 ，进球久违剛剛從麵部傷勢中回歸的献爱德布勞內替補登場 ，一手導演了這場的神比逆轉 ，但他在進球後並沒有選擇慶祝。主帅賽後他在接受采訪時表示 ：“我肯定很高興 。考验但我尊重在這座球場的德布人們 ，我去了埃裏克森當時倒下的那個位置 ，而且我也讓我自己冷靜下來 。”
埃裏克森倒地接受急救時 ，丹麥中場德萊尼忍不住掩麵哭泣 ，而在這場與比利時的賽後 ，他表示球隊的情緒還在受著影響 。“對我們來講 ，再次站在這裏 ，並聽到國歌 ，其實並不是一件容易的事情 。”德萊尼說 ，“我們在賽前圍成一圈 ，互相激勵，並表示將會全力以赴 ，這就已經足夠讓我感到自豪了 ，我們的開局很好 ，輸球也確實讓我們感到很遺憾 。”
談及比賽赫出線形勢 ，丹麥主帥尤爾曼則說 ：“我們在比賽中感受到了人們的支持，他們從訓練營開始就一直支持我們。我們在這場比賽中能學到很多 ，現在我已經開始考慮與俄羅斯的比賽 。我們在本屆歐洲杯的旅途還沒有結束 ，我們也會竭盡全力擊敗俄羅斯。”
在球隊完成逆轉後 ，比利時主帥馬丁內斯則說 ：“我們已經有一段時間沒有經曆過這樣的考驗 。上半場球員們看起來被場上的局勢嚇到一樣，但他們有足夠的經驗去扭轉場上的頹勢 。我們現在需要享受這場勝利 ，接下來再去談談最後一輪與芬蘭的比賽 。”
