最近一段時間 ，前已有關武漢足球俱樂部的身武傳聞不斷。幾天前 ，汉俱效力於該俱樂部的对作現役國腳，老將蒿俊閔通過個人社交平台公開向俱樂部討薪。而隨後 ，互聯網上傳出的消息顯示 ，武漢足球俱樂部已決定與蒿俊閔、楊博宇 、趙宏略 、田依濃、黃紫昌 、葉重秋等人協商解決欠薪適宜 ，並正式解約 。甚至有傳聞稱 ，現任主帥李金羽有可能離開武漢隊帥位，前國腳鄭斌有望接手。
不過 ，武漢俱樂部25日下午的一則官方聲明打破了疑雲。俱樂部確認，李金羽將在2022賽季繼續率領武漢隊 。俱樂部這樣寫道 ：“經過友好協商和充分溝通 ，武漢足球俱樂部與李金羽指導正式達成協定 ，他將在新賽季中繼續擔任武漢隊主教練 。武漢隊已於近日在卓爾足球訓練基地集結 ，球隊也將在李金羽指導及教練團隊的帶領下 ，積極展開新賽季的訓練備戰工作。”
據了解 ，目前李金羽已身在武漢。在此之前 ，武漢俱樂部也對他個人作了一番真誠挽留 。不過 ，在多名主力相繼流失的背景下 ，武漢隊新賽季的備戰與競賽工作充滿挑戰和困難，這對少帥李金羽亦是一份重大考驗 。
