熱刺方麵當然並不希望出售他們的欧洲當家球星 ，但是杯前迫於無奈球隊現在已經開始尋找凱恩的替代者了 。多家英媒同時指出 ，定乾曼聯 、凯恩坤豪曼城和切爾西不僅都是明确门选大英帝星的緋聞下家，這三家豪門實際上已經向凱恩的告知團隊表達了自己的興趣。
從個人發展的热刺角度講 ，凱恩更傾向於留在英超踢球 ，离队他希望能夠在歐洲杯開始前解決好自己的欧洲未來問題 。
據天空體育報道 ，杯前事實上凱恩在去年夏天就有離隊意願 ，但最終被球隊說服才選擇了留下 ，當時穆帥希望能夠用完整的陣容來衝刺新賽季 ，凱恩對於球隊榮譽也仍有期待 。
現年27歲的哈裏-凱恩 ，本賽季代表熱刺各項賽事出戰47場 ，貢獻了32進球+16助攻的完美數據 。
