據越南媒體報道 ，越南亚主在越南隊公布了對陣中國隊和阿曼隊的集训计划将最12強賽名單之後 ，他們的提前賽前備戰計劃也隨之確定 。他們將在河內集訓兩周 ，周前然後提前7-10天再啟程去西亞 ，往西不過他們的力门主力門將鄧文林將在最後時刻才會到國家隊報到 。
越南隊會在當地時間9月16日16點30分 ，后报在河內進行首堂訓練課 。越南亚主大概會在這裏進行為期兩周左右的集训计划将最集訓 ，然後提前7-10天再啟程前往西亞進行最後的提前備戰 。
值得一提的周前是 ，黎文軒 、往西裴黃越 、力门李公黃、后报阮清平4名球員將繼續與U22隊一起訓練 ，越南亚主阮文瓚是唯一留在國家隊當中訓練的U22球員 。主力門將鄧文林雖然不在集訓名單當中 ，原因是他目前效力於J聯賽的大阪櫻花隊，在國際比賽日時才會從俱樂部返回 ，到國家隊報到 。
越南隊12強賽前兩輪 ，與中國隊一樣都是兩戰皆負 ，不過越南隊進了一球 ，並且淨勝球也比國足多一個 ，因此暫時排名力壓中國隊列B組第五 。
根據賽程 ，越南隊將於10月7日在沙迦對陣中國隊 ，10月12日在馬斯喀特對陣阿曼隊。（卓奧友）
