近日 ，前《足球》報記者白國華爆料稱 ，欠薪西部某中甲球隊遭遇欠薪問題 ，罢训不资而且拖欠租用的金问訓練基地百萬左右的租金 ，麵臨被逐出基地 。川牛而4月6日下午 ，欠薪有自媒體則爆料稱這支“西部中甲球隊”就是罢训不资四川九牛 ，並表示 ：“四川九牛隊因為欠薪問題 ，金问全隊提出了罷訓 。川牛同時由於拖欠成都謝菲聯基地的欠薪吃住訓費用超過百萬 ，基地方已經將他們趕走 ，罢训不资並放言不準該隊球員進入基地。金问”
紅星新聞記者就此采訪了俱樂部相關人士 ，川牛對方回應稱：“沒有罷訓的欠薪事情 ，前幾天球隊進行了一場熱身賽 ，罢训不资所以在4月6日安排調休一天 。由於今天全隊沒有進行訓練 ，所以被誤讀為罷訓 。”
紅星新聞記者查詢到 ，4月3日清明節假期期間 ，四川九牛確實在成都謝菲聯基地與貴州隊進行了一場熱身賽 ，最終憑借試訓隊員和王琪的進球 ，2比1逆轉擊敗了貴州隊。而對於外界盛傳的球隊欠薪問題 ，俱樂部相關人士則透露 ：“這不是資金問題所導致的 ，主要是目前俱樂部股東之間涉及一些股權變更的事宜 ，不過很快就會得到解決。至於基地的問題，目前也已經在解決，所以請大家放心 。”
而成都謝菲聯基地負責人陳建社也在接受紅星新聞記者采訪時證實說 ：“今天確實正在與四川九牛俱樂部方麵協商解決問題 。”對於外界關於“四川九牛被基地方趕走”的傳言 ，陳建社笑著表示 ：“這是沒有的事情 ，還不至於到這一步 ，但也希望能夠盡快解決問題。”
