Just a few short months into 2016, the sheer magnitude of major album releases is nothing short of overwhelming. But we still don't have the long promised sophomore Frank Ocean album, Boys Don't Cry, and that's depressing.
Now James Blake, who dropped The Colour in Anything featuring two tracks with Ocean's Midas touch, had the nerve to tell Rolling Stone that not only has he heard new Frank Ocean music, but it's even better thanChannel Orange.
Blake is working with Ocean on the follow up to his debut album, which came out many lives ago back in 2012, and he says Ocean's unreleased material had a huge influence on his latest work.
“I was more of a fan of him when I heard his newer music. It’s better," said Blake seemingly unaware of his own cruelty. "You grow, you improve, you nail a new message to the board. He’s had time to mature. It’s really cool to watch.”
So there you have it, James Blake is a confirmed monster.
