目前歐洲聯賽已經暫停 ，足球世界進入了國際比賽日 ，C羅也會回到國家隊參加世預賽 。而在世預賽後 ，C羅就會回到曼徹斯特 ，他非常有可能在9月11日曼聯對戰紐卡的比賽中出場 。
英國媒體《太陽報》也對C羅未來選擇號碼進行了預測 ，除了7號外 ，28號球衣 、9號球衣、17號球衣、77號球衣 、52號球衣 、66號球衣等都是可能的選擇。
