曼聯對利物浦的第34輪英超聯賽原本應該在上周末進行，但由於曼聯球迷在主場外的联球抗議活動 ，這場比賽被迫推遲到當地時間5月13日（北京時間5月14日3點15分）。织发再次而曼聯球迷組織已經發出倡議 ，倡议準備在當地時間5月13日再次舉行針對曼聯老板格雷澤家族的抗议抗議 。
在上周末曼聯對利物浦賽前 ，活动大批曼聯球迷聚集在老特拉福德球場外抗議 ，没完没曼迷组甚至還有約200名球迷衝進球場內，联球打出了“格雷澤Out”的织发再次標語 ，並且要求曼聯效仿德甲的倡议50+1政策（俱樂部會員必須至少獲得超過半數的表決權） 。
在抗議活動中有6名警察受傷 ，抗议1名曼聯球迷被捕 。活动之後曼聯對利物浦的没完没曼迷组比賽被推遲到當地時間5月13日舉行 。由於比賽推遲 ，联球曼聯屆時需要在5天內踢3場比賽 ，织发再次賽程非常緊張 。而發起了上周末抗議活動的曼聯球迷組織並沒有就此罷手，他們已經通過社交媒體呼籲球迷們在當地時間5月13日舉行第二次抗議活動 。
曼聯球迷組織的聲明表示 ：“5月13日，周四 ，老特拉福德，神聖三位一體雕像（博比-查爾頓、喬治-貝斯特 、丹尼斯-勞） ，我們再來一次 ！帶上你的朋友 、家人、煙花 、旗幟 、橫幅 、圍巾。讓我們再來一次 ，用行動投票 ，告訴格雷澤家族 ，我們直到格雷澤Out才會停止 。”
在上周的球迷抗議活動後，擔任天空體育解說嘉賓的曼聯名宿加裏-內維爾稱 ：“我認為今天所有的球迷都應該團結一致支持曼聯球迷所做的一切 ，因為兩周前格雷澤家族做的事情（參與創建歐超聯賽）對英格蘭足球來說是危險的 。”不過事後加裏-內維爾受到了一些批評 ，認為他的言論是在支持球迷的暴力抗議活動 。
