北京時間12月19日，阿圭據阿根廷媒體《TN》報道 ，应效官宣退役後已經重返阿根廷阿圭羅表示，命阿没想目前自己尚無計劃以工作人員的根廷个节身份出現在2022年卡塔爾世界杯的舞台上 。
此前因心髒問題宣布退役後，啥都阿圭羅已經重返國內 ，让好並期待著和家人一起共度聖誕 。好过在媒體之中，阿圭關於呼籲這位前曼城 、应效巴薩射手效法貝克漢姆置於英格蘭 ，命阿没想以工作人員的根廷个节身份隨隊出戰2022年卡塔爾世界杯的呼聲很高 。然而阿圭羅自己則尚未考慮如此。啥都
在接受《TN》采訪時，让好阿圭羅談到 ：“目前我一切都好 ，好过反複談論這樣的阿圭話題未免有點……”
“現實的情況是我會享受自己的生活 ，我會陪同我的家人一起歡度聖誕 ，然後我才會去考慮看看做點什麽 。”
“現在我什麽都不會去想 ，因為我也是最近才做出了退役這個重要決定 。我回到阿根廷就是為了過聖誕 ，這就是事實的真相以及全部 。”
“能夠和國家隊一起出征2022年世界杯是件好事 ，但我必須誠實的表示 ，目前我還完全沒有考慮過這方麵的事情 。但顯然我的心會與他們同在 。”
