為了備戰10月7日主場與越南的中国足协支球足热比賽 ，球隊將在沙迦展開為期1個月的已多集訓 ，期間計劃通過熱身賽幫助球員保持狀態並檢驗集訓成果。队联动国不過受限於防疫規定 、系推各國聯賽照常開打等因素 ，身赛球隊的计划熱身賽對手難尋 。目前 ，中国足协支球足热隨隊抵達沙迦的已多中國足協相關人士正和相關國家隊和俱樂部等各方進行溝通 ，以盡快敲定熱身賽事宜 。队联动国
受疫情影響，系推國足此番備戰12強賽的身赛過程中僅有此前的一場內部教學賽作為熱身，始終未有機會與海外對手進行拉練 。计划因此在這一階段 ，中国足协支球足热全力爭取實戰演練的已多機會將成為備戰的重點內容之一 。阿聯酋本土聯賽俱樂部以及阿聯酋 、队联动国敘利亞 、伊拉克等主場設在西亞的非同組對手都是國足可考慮約戰的球隊 。
目前 ，熱身賽的相關計劃正在積極推動中 。國足新聞官車恒智表示 ：“我們希望約到比較好的熱身賽對手，中國足協正在積極地推動這方麵的工作 ，我們和很多隊伍都取得了聯係 。當然 ，疫情期間存在很大的困難 ，但我們會努力克服困難 ，希望未來能夠約到高質量的熱身賽。”
結束9月國際比賽日的休賽期後 ，2021-2022賽季的阿聯酋足球超級聯賽於9月10日重新拉開戰幕，基本保持一周一賽的節奏 。9月30日第6輪聯賽結束後，阿聯酋超級聯賽將進入本賽季的第二個間歇期 ，為10月的國際比賽日讓路 。這就意味著，來自阿聯酋超級聯賽的俱樂部若在聯賽進行的過程中答應國足的熱身賽邀約，則會麵臨一周雙賽 ，球隊有可能不會派出主力陣容應戰 ，很難達到李鐵所希望的與強隊熱身 ，從而在節奏上有所提高的目標 。
在此基礎上 ，約戰國家隊層麵對手的計劃也將同步展開 。12強賽另一小組的阿聯酋隊將在10月的兩場比賽中連續主場作戰 ，球隊預計於10月初在阿聯酋國內完成集結 ，屆時有望成為國足可約戰的對手 。此外，非同組對手敘利亞 、伊拉克將12強賽主場分別設在約旦和多哈 ，從交通便利的因素考慮 ，兩隊都存在與國足進行熱身賽的可能性。不過考慮到防疫等實際情況 ，熱身賽計劃的具體實施目前仍需足協相關人士與各方進行協調和溝通 。
