歐洲聯賽大部分已經進入了聖誕假期 ，小时笑但是连战利物英超聯賽卻如以往一樣開打 。盡管英超聯賽對於沒有冬歇期已經進行了一定程度的曼城改善 ，但是浦罗對於球員與教練來說 ，聖誕期間密集的发飙比賽依舊是噩夢 。萊斯特城主帥羅傑斯在近日接受采訪時表示 ，赛程72小時內連戰曼城 、小时笑利物浦 ，连战利物這樣的曼城賽程真的可笑 。
萊斯特城最近幾個賽季在英超的浦罗成績不錯 ，作為球隊的发飙主帥 ，羅傑斯也起到了決定性的赛程作用。但是小时笑在新賽季的英超 ，萊斯特城的连战利物成績與以往相比卻有了一定程度的下滑 。如果有聖誕假期的曼城話 ，萊斯特城還會有休整的機會調整狀態 。
但是令球隊高層與球迷鬱悶的是 ，萊斯特城在聖誕假期期間卻是連戰強敵。就在北京時間昨日淩晨 ，萊斯特城在英超聯賽3-6輸給了領頭羊曼城 。而就在北京時間周三的淩晨，萊斯特會在英超第20輪聯賽迎戰排名第二的球隊利物浦 。
在對戰利物浦賽前的新聞發布會上 ，羅傑斯也對短時間內連續對戰曼城與利物浦進行了吐槽 ：“這樣的賽程簡直是太可笑了，我想我們大家都知道這一點 。球員們根本無法在72個小時內恢複身體的狀態。我認為在踢完曼城後就在當地時間周二踢利物浦是一件非常可笑的事情 。但是沒辦法 ，我們必須出戰這場比賽 。”
“今天的訓練 ，我們不會進行體能的訓練 ，隻是一些恢複性的訓練 。我們會根據球員的身體情況去準備這場與紅軍的比賽 。與我們相比，利物浦有更多的準備時間 ，這一周他們沒有踢比賽，他們會以滿滿的活力出戰與我們的比賽 。聯賽杯和我們交手後 ，利物浦就沒有踢比賽 ，所以他們可以讓一些球員回歸 。”
