北京時間6月18日下午 ，埃里據《世界體育報》轉載《米蘭體育報》的克森消息，丹麥球星埃裏克森已經成功接受手術 ，成功除颤在身體內植入了心髒複律除顫器 ，植入置恐但埃裏克森的为永足球生涯依然麵臨著提前結束的可能。

《米蘭體育報》還提出了一種假設 ，那就是在四到五周之後 ，埃裏克森可以再次接受檢查 ，以此來確定他的心律失常是否可以治愈 。如果答案是肯定的 ，他的心律失常是暫時性的 ，那麽心髒複律除顫器可以被摘除 。不過即便是如此 ，這也將會是一個漫長的過程 ，得到醫生的許可是必須的 。
