北京時間8月27日淩晨 ，穆帅马提2021-2022賽季歐戰最新賽事——歐洲協會聯賽附件賽的本场一場焦點戰將在羅馬奧林匹克球場展開角逐 ，由羅馬坐陣主場迎戰特拉布宗體育 。总想着打賽前 ，平罗羅馬主帥穆裏尼奧出席了新聞發布會 ，升空他表示雖然首回合羅馬領先，间还但本場比賽不會隻想著打平 ，穆帅马提而羅馬還有不小的本场提升空間 。
穆裏尼奧說道 ：“本場比賽在戰術層麵的总想着打變化不大，無論首回合結果如何，平罗我們的升空目標都是贏球 。我們知道本場比賽打平就能確保晉級 ，间还但我們可以從第80分鍾起再考慮打平的穆帅马提事兒 ，而不是本场一開始就這麽想 。我們不想做太多改變 ，总想着打因為我們都想贏得比賽 。”
談到羅馬的提升空間時 ，穆帥說：“羅馬能夠提升的空間還很多 ，我們才剛剛接手羅馬不到兩個月的時間 。國際米蘭的情況可能不同 ，因為小因紮吉上任後會發現自己的球隊已經成型了 。我們還有很多地方需要改變，我們今天分析了與佛羅倫薩的比賽那些地方做的不好 ，有些錯誤是上賽季就犯過的。當然 ，這並不是對豐塞卡（前羅馬主帥）的批評 。隨著時間的推薦 ，我相信我們還會做更多的改進。在防守端 ，對跑動和站位需要進行調整 ，進攻中訓練傳跑結合比較難 ，需要更多的時間 。”
洛倫佐-佩萊格裏尼在穆帥麾下成為了前場進攻核心 ，穆帥對其進行了一番稱讚：“他什麽位置都能踢 ，如果我的麾下有3個佩萊格裏尼 ，那我會讓他們同時登場。他非常實用 ，能夠適應多個位置的角色 。他能夠在邊路送出極具創造力的助攻，可以與亞伯拉罕形成聯動 。他非常聰明 ，能很好的閱讀比賽 ，並且能很好的適應我們的戰術體係。如果我有3個佩萊格裏尼 ，我會讓他們都上場 。”
談到歐協杯未使用VAR技術時 ，穆帥說 ：“我們必須適應這一點 ，我依然認為特拉布宗體育的進球是越位的 ，但我們需要適應這一點。明天我們至少會擁有在土耳其沒有的門線技術 。我理解歐足聯的困難，因為這是一項新的賽事 ，其中很多參賽球隊並沒有很好的設施支撐比賽 。決賽肯定會有VAR ，但不知我們能否殺進決賽。”
