據法國權威媒體《隊報》消息 ，曼城姆巴曼城計劃在今年夏窗引進巴黎前鋒姆巴佩 。加入藍月主帥瓜迪奧拉對姆巴佩欣賞有加 ，佩争在阿圭羅即將離隊的夺战背景下 ，曼城也渴望來補充鋒線的超亿實力。
姆巴佩的皇马未來成為外界猜測的一大話題 。報道稱，曼城姆巴姆巴佩已經連續4次拒絕與巴黎續約 ，加入盡管巴黎給姆巴佩的佩争合同已經高達3000萬歐元的年薪 ，但姆巴佩一直不為所動 。夺战對於他的超亿未來 ，主帥波切蒂諾也顯得信心不足 ：“關於姆巴佩會不會留下 ？皇马這是他的問題 ，不是曼城姆巴我的問題 ，他與俱樂部還有一年的加入合同 ，俱樂部在盡最大努力讓他留在這裏，還有一個多月的時間來進行這些工作 。”
