宣布留守熱刺是凱恩的無奈之舉 ，而在這背後 ，熱刺高層也做出了一些讓步 。來自英國媒體《太陽報》的消息稱 ，熱刺高層將會為凱恩加薪 ，回報他選擇留守 。目前凱恩與熱刺的合同在2024年結束，凱恩的周薪為23萬英鎊 。
而熱刺的最新計劃是給凱恩提供一份周薪高達33萬英鎊的合同 ，凱恩的周薪上漲幅度接近50% 。當然 ，熱刺提供的加薪合同也有條件——凱恩必須與熱刺續約至2027年。而到了2027年 ，凱恩已經年滿34歲 ，對於一名前鋒來說 ，這意味著職業生涯的尾聲 。
