談及過去種種“緋聞” ，最困卡納瓦羅說道 ：在過去很長一段時間裏，难的年年各種平台寫出了很多關於我的轻球新聞和內容。我作為當事人從未發聲 ，员没有天但網上有人或許出於工作目的卡纳 ，去寫出很多與事實有天壤之別的瓦罗東西 。今年是今年我在廣州恒大的第四年起步 ，我隻想忘掉過去一切 ，最困重新開始。难的年年如果還總想著過去那些事，轻球那我或許都不該坐在這裏了 。员没有天我隻想說 ，卡纳尊重是相互的 ，我們今天開始就不去談過去的事了 。
關於球隊目標和球員情況，卡納瓦羅表示 ：除了費南多還有傷 ，所有隊員都已經為新賽季做好準備了 。至於球隊目標 ，你們跟隊這麽長時間 ，應該能看出來球隊現在的陣容和框架了 ，也不用我去多說什麽。我還是重複一點，我重回廣州就是為了完成更新換代 ，在這個基礎上去爭取好成績 。但今年是我回來後最困難的一年 。
對於恒大年輕球員的未來 ，卡納瓦羅說：在歐洲 ，17-20歲就已經要去一線隊踢比賽了 。這幾個月 ，我看了至少十場足校青年隊的比賽 ，從中我挑選了11個來到一線隊。但說實話 ，這些隊員裏 ，沒有一個已經完全準備好明天就能代表廣州隊踢中超了 。所以大家別想著他們之中有幾個天才 ，幾個妖人 ，沒有的 。我隻能說 ，他們都是有天賦的球員 ，我會盡力給他們表現機會 。
