皇馬功勳隊長拉莫斯與俱樂部之間的矛盾看起來已經無法化解，雙方分道揚鑣幾乎板上定釘 。即拉西班牙媒體《阿斯報》表示 ，莫斯矛盾拉莫斯在皇馬沒有未來 ，皇马他和俱樂部的已久矛盾由來已久 。《進球網》則表示 ，安帅皇馬新帥安切洛蒂到來後對拉莫斯非常冷淡，对冷淡西班牙人想要繼續留在伯納烏的离队希望已經非常渺茫 。
《阿斯報》稱 ，即拉拉莫斯與皇馬續約一事已經完全擱淺 ，莫斯矛盾他在伯納烏沒有未來。皇马此外 ，已久皇馬方麵也沒有讓拉莫斯參加拍攝推廣新球衣的安帅宣傳視頻 。此前有消息表示 ，对冷淡拉莫斯股東隊友們拒絕俱樂部提出的离队降薪10%的建議 ，稱球員們降薪省下來的錢會用來購買姆巴佩，給姆巴佩開高薪 。拉莫斯的這種做法讓皇馬非常受傷。所謂冰凍三尺非一日之寒 ，拉莫斯與俱樂部的矛盾由來已經 ，雙方在2015年以來就爆發了三次嚴重衝突 ，具體如下 ：
第一次衝突發生在2015年夏天 ，當時曼聯想要引進拉莫斯，紅魔為西班牙人開出了5年5500萬歐元的稅後收入 ，拉莫斯以曼聯為籌碼和皇馬討要續約條件 ，這迫使銀河戰艦將他的年薪漲到了稅後1200萬歐元；第二次則是2018-2019賽季皇馬被阿賈克斯歐冠淘汰之後 ，弗洛倫蒂諾賽後到更衣室批評了球隊的表現 ，拉莫斯當麵為隊友們辯駁 ，認為原因在於俱樂部對陣容改造不利——當時C羅剛剛離開皇馬；第三次則是2019年夏天 ，拉莫斯表示自己得到了來自中國的高薪合同，他找到老佛爺要求皇馬放自己離隊，但後來此事被證明並不具備操作性。拉莫斯被迫召開新聞發布會時表示 ，自己想在皇馬退役，甚至願意為俱樂部免費踢球 。
《進球網》也表示，拉莫斯在皇馬已經漸行漸遠，新帥安切洛蒂對拉莫斯的態度也相當冷淡 。拉莫斯和皇馬的合同本月月底到期 ，雙方還沒有就續約達成一致。安切洛蒂在新聞發布會上說 ：“他是我們的隊長，我會考慮他 。我需要和俱樂部談所有的事兒，我們會在未來幾天時間裏做一些事兒 ，我當初也沒有想到失去安切洛蒂的皇馬 ，但這發生了 ，你不得不去接受。但明顯的是，拉莫斯是一個對俱樂部非常重要的球員，也是俱樂部贏得諸多冠軍的根基 。”
