博格巴談到 ：“我們是博格巴赛抱没必搞朋友 ，這沒什麽大不了的后和 。我想你從電視畫麵裏已經看到了全過程了 ，吕迪這一切都結束了 ，格抱是得禁過去式 。我不想為了這件事情而抱怨、博格巴赛抱没必搞發牢騷 ，后和也不想他被追加黃牌或是吕迪紅牌什麽的 。”
“我想，格抱他的得禁確是咬了我一小下 。當時我感覺到了 ，告訴了裁判，裁判做出了決定 。整個這件事到此就結束了 ，我隻想好好踢我的球 。”
“他沒有收到紅黃牌處罰 ，我想這樣也挺好的。我並不希望他因為這種情況而被停賽。比賽結束的時候 ，我們還互相擁抱來的 ，所以事情僅此而已。”
中場休息時，作為解說員的維埃拉、基恩和賴特說出自己的觀點。前阿森納隊長維埃拉說到 ：“當你看到博格巴的反應時 ，他好像的確是被咬了一口 。我真的不明白呂迪格想幹什麽 。”前曼聯隊長基恩說：“我認為這個動作與其說是咬 ，還不如說成是啃 。這不是件正經事兒 ，這麽做太蠢了 。”賴特則覺得博格巴是在利用這一事件製造某種氛圍 ：“在所謂被咬的時候他並沒有蜷縮起來 ，我並沒有看明白這一點 。”
