北京時間10月8日，广州轨中國足協官方發布了選聘中國女足主教練的城支持肇通知 ，由於選聘通知剛剛發布 ，俊哲竞聘急需目前不清楚到底有幾人參加競聘 。中国主帅據《足球報》報道稱，女足擔任廣州城領隊的铿锵肇俊哲，很大機會參加 ，玫瑰他所在的回正俱樂部也十分支持 。
東京奧運會上 ，广州轨被寄予期望的城支持肇中國女足在三場小組賽中僅取得1平2負 ，無緣小組出線 ，俊哲竞聘急需更是中国主帅出現了2比8不敵荷蘭的慘案 ，帶領中國女足征戰過法國世界杯 、女足又在奧運資格賽上殺出重圍的铿锵賈秀全將東京失利的所有責任攬下 。

在賽後采訪中，記者很關心水慶霞是否會接任女足主教練 。水慶霞當即反問道 ：‘你們希望我當主教練麽？’得到肯定答複後 ，她說：“希望的話 ，我就爭取一下 。”
