北京時間3月12日，據《鏡報》報道 ，物浦利物浦與薩拉赫的续约續約談判破裂 ，埃及前鋒甚至“很樂意”加盟另外一家英超俱樂部 。萨拉手或死敌
利物浦方麵很希望能夠與薩拉赫就續約一事達成一致 ，赫谈這位29歲的崩王埃及前鋒與安菲爾德的合同隻剩下最後15個月的合同了 ，這也意味著如果今夏轉會窗口開啟前無法搞定此事的转投話 ，紅軍將在局麵上陷入極為被動的英超地步 。
據接近薩拉赫的曝利牌射經紀人拉米-阿巴斯-伊薩的消息源稱 ，利物浦在去年年底的物浦時候最後一次為薩拉赫續約報價 ，但是续约被這位球員代表斷然拒絕了 。
而自從去年12月份以來 ，萨拉手或死敌利物浦與薩拉赫之間並未進行任何的赫谈續約談判 。阿巴斯明確表示 ，崩王除非收到改善後的转投新報價，否則他不會重新回到談判桌前 ，薩拉赫也不會簽下一份新合同 。
《鏡報》稱 ，盡管在本周早些時候 ，一些來自埃及的媒體報道聲音稱 ，薩拉赫與利物浦之間的談判取得了突破性進展 ，但事實上並沒有 ，這場曠日持久的談判並未取得任何階段性的成果 。
有傳言稱，如果利物浦最終無法滿足薩拉赫的要求 ，這位埃及前鋒“很樂意”加盟另外一支英超俱樂部。
去年12月 ，利物浦曾向薩拉赫提出了一份他們認為很有吸引力的合同 ，但這位埃及球星顯然並不是這麽認為的 。薩拉赫方麵認為新合同與他的價值並不匹配 ，或者說參考德布勞內等球星的合同 ，這並不是一個與埃及人的能力和貢獻相匹配的報價。
C羅被認為是目前英超收入最高的球員 ，他的周薪據說達到了51萬鎊，而如果不考慮聲望值的加成的話 ，德布勞內與曼城的新合同周薪為40萬鎊 。
自2017年夏天從羅馬加盟利物浦以來 ，薩拉赫一直是利物浦成功的關鍵人物，他在237次出場中打入了152球 。薩拉赫本賽季仍是英超目前為止的頭號射手 ，貢獻了19個進球，另有10次助攻 ，在助攻榜上 ，隻有他的俱樂部隊友阿諾德排位在埃及人之上 。
克洛普在當地時間周五早上被問到了薩拉赫的合同問題 ，渣叔對此的看法很輕鬆 ：“我認為薩拉赫肯定希望自己所效力的俱樂部滿懷雄心 ，我們也是的 。這將由他來做出決定 ，俱樂部已經做了俱樂部能做的 ，目前一切都很好 。”
“從我的角度來看 ，一切都很好 ，沒有任何進一步的事情發生，沒有簽約 ，也沒有拒絕 ，我們隻需要安靜的等待。這完全沒有問題 ，不著急 。”
在克洛普的評論被媒體曝出後不久 ，薩拉赫的經紀人在社交媒體上發布了連續七個“笑哭”的表情 ，許多人將其解讀為對克洛普的抨擊。
在過去 ，克洛普曾經在自己的陣營之中遇到過公開反對他的權威的事情 ，而德國人做出了頗為強烈的反應 ，薩科在季前賽後被送回家 ，並最終被賣掉了，克洛普說這名後衛“缺乏尊重” 。
盡管這位主帥的形象相當友好 ，但他是那種能夠在需要的時候使用鐵腕手段的人 ，現在 ，利物浦的擁躉們隻是希望 ，這一切不會降臨到薩拉赫的頭上。
