在去年9月C羅的关注Instagram賬戶粉絲達到2.37億人 ，成為Instagram上粉絲最多的世界社媒人。而本賽季加盟曼聯後C羅的第人粉絲增長速度驚人 ，如今已經達到了4億粉絲 ，账户創造了新的粉丝世界紀錄 。Instagram上粉絲數排名第二的已超亿仅是美國社交名媛凱莉-詹娜（3.08億） ，梅西則以3.06億排在第三位 。关注
據統計，世界社媒C羅的第人Instagram賬戶上一共發了3242條帖子，平均每個帖子的账户點讚數超過1000萬 ，而C羅隻關注了500個Instagram賬戶 ，英國著名主持人皮爾斯-摩根祝賀C羅創造紀錄 ：“祝賀你成為第一個在Instagram上擁有4億粉絲的人 ，無可爭議的社交媒體goat 。PS ：C羅隻關注了500人 ，其中包括我……”
不過C羅近期在球場上的狀態並不太理想，此前四場比賽他都沒能進球 。如果在接下來曼聯客場對伯恩利的英超聯賽C羅還無法進球，那麽他將連續五場俱樂部比賽0進球 。C羅上一次在俱樂部中出現這麽長時間的進球荒還是在2010年 ，當時他還在皇馬效力 。本賽季C羅已經為曼聯打進14球 ，其中英超聯賽8球 。
