新華社北京4月9日電 國際足聯日前在其網站公布 ，新华薪球國際足聯球員基金共計將撥款1600萬美元（約合人民幣1億元）援助金在全球範圍內幫扶因俱樂部破產等原因而遭遇欠薪的基金帮球員。
據介紹，扶欠該基金在2020年成立 ，员名1600萬美元援助金將被分為四個申請階段 ，中国足协注册助在該時間段內遭遇欠薪的获资球員可以向基金提出援助申請。第一申請階段為2015年7月1日至2020年6月30日 ，新华薪球共計補助500萬美元；第二申請階段為2020年7月1日至2020年12月31日 ，基金帮共計補助300萬美元；第三階段為2021年1月1日至2021年12月31日 ，扶欠共計補助400萬美元；第四階段為2022年1月1日至2022年12月31日 ，员名共計補助400萬美元 。中国足协注册助目前前兩個階段的获资申請和審查均已結束 。
國際足聯統計，新华薪球在去年的基金帮第一申請階段，有1000多名球員收到了該基金的扶欠援助 。第二階段又有來自22個會員協會39家俱樂部共140名球員的援助申請得到批準 。其中有3名注冊在中國足協的球員提出申請均獲得批準 ，共計將得到9.8萬美元（約合人民幣62.4萬元）的援助金。
“國際足聯球員基金旨在為全球的職業球員提供最基本的保障。”國際足聯指導委員會法律總監羅伊·弗美爾表示 ，希望球員基金這一機製能為各大洲足聯和各會員協會解決球員欠薪問題提供範本 。
國際足聯表示 ，第三階段和第四階段的援助申請目前已經開放，遭遇欠薪的球員可以登錄國際足聯官網提供的網站進行申請 。（完）
