北京時間3日淩晨 ，國足重返沙迦俱樂部體育場副場進行室外訓練。太踢体訓練開始前 ，越南赢球作為主力中衛 ，目前入籍球員蔣光太接受了媒體采訪 。全队他表示 ，状况與隊友不存在語言溝通的不错困難。包括自己在內 ，蒋光全隊所有成員對於下一場比賽（12強賽第3輪中、太踢体越比賽）的越南赢球認知都非常統一，那就是目前要贏球。在西亞備戰期間 ，全队蔣光太不僅在訓練、状况比賽中保持全勤 ，不错還經常前往酒店健身房加練 。蒋光對此 ，蔣光太解釋說 ：“事實上 ，我並不會主動約哪個隊友一起訓練，但這其實是一種習慣 。包括我們的體能教練也都會去健身房加練 。”
對於12強賽前兩輪暴露出的球隊體能儲備狀況不理想等問題 ，蔣光太評價道 ：“是這樣的，每個人都需要一定的時間來適應西亞比較濕熱的氣候環境 。現在距離我們下一場比賽已經很近了 ，我們也沒有多少時間了。不過我就覺得，我們現在的（體能）準備情況還是蠻好的 。”
眾所周知 ，蔣光太在訓練、比賽及場外生活過程中 ，大多用英語與團隊其他成員交流。那麽在比賽過程中 ，這樣的現實情況是否會對他與隊友間的溝通造成障礙或者困擾呢 ？對此蔣光太回答說：“是這樣的 ，足球本身就是一門語言 。所以我覺得 ，對於我們來說這（語言問題）不是什麽難題 。畢竟我們所有人都在踢同一場比賽，也都同樣十分投入。”
對於國足12強賽第3輪 ，也就是下一輪的對手越南隊 ，蔣光太並沒有過多評價 。不過對於比賽的目標，他擲地有聲地答道 ：“我們對於下一場比賽性質的判斷和認知都是一樣的 ，那就是去取得下一場比賽的勝利。”
對於9月30日與敘利亞隊的熱身賽 ，蔣光太評價說 ：“兩天前我們踢了一場熱身賽 。這是針對與越南隊比賽所作的準備工作內容之一。實際上也是對我們全隊前幾天訓練成果的一次檢驗 。我個人認為 ，比賽的檢驗效果還是挺好的 。”
