這些言論帶給索爾斯克亞巨大的格森壓力 ，但在本輪英超賽前索爾斯克亞表示 ：“我對此很放鬆 。索帅赛弗我也曾多次不同意主帥的罗轮换意見，多次告訴我的有比也妻子我不同意教練的意見 ，但這從來沒有成為頭條新聞 。我確信弗格森爵士知道這不會打擾我。”
接著索帥強調：“我們都想看到C羅 ，因為他是獨一無二的 ，是與眾不同的 ，每個人都想來球場看他比賽 。他是出色的球員、出色的終結者 、出色的射手、出色的職業球員 ，很難把他排除在首發陣容之外 。但一個顯而易見的事實是 ，他不可能參加我們的每一場比賽 ，這是因為球員和人身體上的限製 。”
