近日 ，官方在巴黎舉行的卡恩歐洲俱樂部協會（European Club Association ，簡稱ECA）理事會上 ，当选拜仁慕尼黑俱樂部CEO卡恩當選為歐洲俱樂部協會執行委員會的欧洲新任副主席。
據悉 ，俱乐卡恩此番履新也屬於“內部消化” ，部协他正是副主接替了拜仁法務總監格林德爾（Michael Gerlinger）博士擔任此職位 。格林德爾擔任執委會副主席已經四年 ，履新他於2021年9月底辭去了在ECA董事會的官方職務
對於自己的新職位 ，卡恩表示十分榮幸 ，卡恩“當選該職務 ，当选一方麵是欧洲極大的榮譽 ，另一方麵也意味著巨大的俱乐責任。國際足球目前正在經曆其曆史上最深刻的部协變化 ，還麵臨著其他挑戰 ，如疫情等問題 。我們的工作是確保歐洲足球成為成功的典範 。為了做到這一點，我們需要國際俱樂部之間絕對的團結 ，我們必須以一個整體和遠見卓識來塑造足球未來 。”
同時，卡恩也表態自己將會利用好這個履職機會為足球界貢獻更多力量 ，“這個協會所代表的俱樂部的聲音必須是有分量的 ，能被廣泛聽到的 ，並且在製定世界足球的路線規劃時被考慮在內。憑借我的經驗，我願意為解決所有挑戰做出貢獻，為了足球的利益，也為了拜仁的利益 。”
