北京時間4月1日消息 ，外援據信息時報報道 ，国家归化26歲的队首武漢隊外援前鋒讓·埃弗拉·誇西日前再次獲科特迪瓦國家隊征召 ，正式歸隊報到並隨隊征戰非洲杯預選賽 。秀即北京時間前天深夜的进球非洲杯預選賽K組 ，科特迪瓦主場3:1擊敗埃塞俄比亞 ，埃弗埃弗拉1進球1造點 ，拉已實現了國家隊完美首秀 。彻底
去年埃弗拉收到征召後為了幫助武漢隊保級並未前往國家隊報到 ，没戏令球隊和球迷都十分感動 ，外援如今埃弗拉終於如願以償為國征戰 ，国家归化武漢隊也為埃弗拉送上了祝福。队首中超生涯 ，秀即埃弗拉在上港 、进球卓爾效力過 ，埃弗如今他是卓爾大腿級外援。埃弗拉踢了89場中超 ，打進48球 。上賽季中超 ，埃弗拉出場18次 ，打進8球 ，還有5個助攻 。
埃弗拉曾透露接到過前任主教練李鐵的電話邀請 ，但是他仍然期待著為科特迪瓦效力 。“我被邀請進入中國隊 ，但是我拒絕了。中國隊主教練（李鐵）曾是我在武漢隊的教練，突然 ，他說他希望我進入中國國家隊，給我打來了電話 ，但是我拒絕了 ！”如今他夢想成真還取得了進球 ，也就徹底斷了歸化這條路。
本場比賽是非洲杯預選賽最後一輪 ，科特迪瓦頭名出線 ，而埃塞俄比亞也是以1分的優勢力壓馬達加斯加 ，以小組第2的身份晉級明年的非洲杯正賽 。
此役在第80分鍾時 ，主裁判在毫無征兆的情況下忽然昏厥 ，隨後直接被擔架抬出場 ，最終比賽提前結束，科特迪瓦3:1勝出 。
