經過9個小時左右的国足漫長飛行 ，搭載著中國男足代表團一行的包机卡塔爾航空公司包機於當地時間8月26日清晨5點12分左右飛抵多哈哈馬德國際機場 。據了解，安全代表團登機前已接到通知 ，抵达多哈全員抵達多哈後將直接前往駐地酒店接受核酸檢測 ，直接驻地這無疑將大幅縮減他們在機場逗留的前往時間 。
中國男足代表團於北京時間8月25日晚10點離開位於上海市的酒店接受检测駐地酒店 ，並計劃搭乘於北京時間26日淩晨0點35分起飛的核酸卡航包機前往多哈 。據了解 ，国足受天氣影響 ，包机本次航班較既定時間延遲了近1小時後才起飛。安全
據悉 ，抵达多哈整個航程非常順利。直接驻地由於飛機上的前往高級艙位有限 ，主教練李鐵依然將自己的酒店接受检测公務艙位讓給了隊員。不過由於國足此赴多哈搭乘的是包機 。全團成員不到80人，因此即便大多數成員們的座位安排在經濟艙內，每個人的座位空間相對都較大 ，方便休息 。
經過9小時左右的飛行 ，國足搭乘的包機於當地時間26日清晨5點12分左右抵達多哈 。根據卡塔爾當地的防疫要求，全團（球隊）成員自進入卡塔爾境內開始至離境 ，全程都必須處於“氣泡式”防疫閉環之中 。
值得注意的是 ，就在航班起飛前，代表團成員接到通知，他們抵達多哈後的首次核酸檢測將直接安排在駐地酒店進行。這樣的話 ，球隊除了在哈馬德機場落實正常的人員入境手續外 ，將得以快速入境 ，並前往駐地酒店 。由此也不難看出 ，中國足協國足備戰保障工作組前期的工作非常細致、到位 。
據了解，全隊進駐酒店後並落實各項防疫檢測後 ，可能會利用少許時間進早餐 ，隨後返回各自房間休息。國足教練組也會根據場地安排等實際情況 ，落實具體訓練計劃 。如果首練可以安排在當地時間傍晚或晚上 ，那麽球隊很可能從26日晚正式開練 。
