深圳隊前任主帥小克魯伊夫因赴巴薩履新，已结助理教練卡洛斯接替成為深圳隊主帥 。深足束隔在間歇期 ，主帅住前深圳隊隊中多名外援因國家隊比賽或家事而離開中國 ，盼保7月初深圳隊赴天津進行了3場熱身賽 ，位置外援先是两大离归0:5負於長春亞泰 ，接著2:4輸給天津津門虎，已结但與天津津門虎的深足束隔第二場熱身賽中 ，憑借卡爾德克梅開二度 ，主帅住前深圳隊2:0取勝。盼保7月11日 ，球隊從天津返回深圳 ，15日進駐廣州賽區 。目前外援阿奇姆彭和普拉利甘吉都已經結束21天的隔離觀察期歸隊 ，本場比賽瓦卡索停賽 。據了解 ，在小克離開帥位後，教練團隊仍留在深圳 ，卡洛斯直言會延續小克帶隊時做得好的方麵 ，不足之處加以改進 。對於他來說 ，目標就是至少進入賽區前四 。
前5輪 ，深圳隊取得2勝2平1負，以8分位居廣州賽區第四 。滄州僅取得3場平局 ，未嚐一勝 ，是廣州賽區墊底球隊 。滄州隊主帥古特比賽前認為，接下來26天9戰的密集賽程將是巨大挑戰，希望能通過比賽贏得滄州球迷的喜愛 。
