謝暉說 ：“這兩天主要的大连队工作就是 ，訓練完讓隊員去冰療，应该不光是头冠热身體和腿進行冰療 ，頭也放進冰水裏去 ，做冰讓隊員冷靜一下 。疗长最近備戰的春亚氣氛我不是不太喜歡 ，這樣的氣氛 ，隊員可能擺不正位置 ，需要給大家潑潑冷水 。在沒有拿到勝利的情況下 ，都談不上勝不驕敗不餒 。感謝球迷和媒體的厚愛 ，但我們應該有這樣的免疫力 。”
對於廣州城 ，謝暉給予了足夠的尊敬 ，廣州城上輪1-4負於長春亞泰 ，但謝暉認為並不代表什麽 。“現在還不知道我們下一場會遇到什麽樣的困難。廣州城上賽季是爭冠組 ，本賽季遇到了一些困難 。上一場1-4的比分有一定的迷惑性 。”
謝暉認為廣州城上輪的對手長春亞泰是本賽季的爭冠熱門 。“如果現在聯賽中問題最少的球隊，我首選長春亞泰 ，對於我來說 ，他們準備最充分，是爭冠熱門 ，他們隊前場三叉戟 ，如果排聯賽第二 ，那就沒有第一了 。”
“這一場會比上一場更困難 ，不管李提香 ，還是陳誌超 ，都是中超聯賽中非常有經驗的球員 ，我也很欣賞對手主教練的足球思維 。對於現代足球而言，高壓壓迫不是最有勇氣的足球 ，最有勇氣的是在後場不起大腳 ，組織進攻 ，廣州城是這些年中國足壇的一股清流 。我們會集中120%的精力去準備這場比賽。”
在被問到是否整個賽季都會堅持高位逼搶時 ，謝暉表示 ：“高位逼搶不是什麽新鮮話題，15年前開始的 ，隻不過國內做得晚一些 ，我前幾年在南通就這麽做了 ，會一直堅持下去。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
