對於球隊人員的熟悉變化 ，哈維爾坦言 ：“我們遇到了很多人員方麵的尔球困難 ，主力陣容中很多人打不了 。解決辦法隻能根據現有陣容調配 ，包括年輕球員 ，相信他們都準備好了。”
當被問及張外龍執教過河南對球隊非常熟悉，該如何應對 。曾輔佐小克執教重慶隊的哈維爾表示 ：“如果說隊對手的熟悉，雙方的條件是平等的 。我也曾是重慶教練 ，對他們的陣容也很熟悉 。對手很堅韌一直在進步，我們也是如此 。兩支球隊從實力 、定位和打法風格都很相似 ，我們都想贏 。我們能做的就是尊重對手然後發揮自己全部的實力 。”
