北京時間12月19日晚 ，中超第17輪比賽 ，宇广廣州隊2-0戰勝長春亞泰 ，州队迎來了中超第二階段的到全队预首場勝利 。賽後 ，然目廣州隊主教練劉智宇出席了新聞發布會 。前还期
劉智宇首先對本場比賽進行了總結 ：“長春亞泰是没达一支有硬度 ，整體性非常強的刘智力依球隊 。這場比賽踢得非常難 ，宇广我們在傳接和控製上做得不錯 ，州队找到了感覺 ，到全队预但在射門準心上還是然目沒找到，還是前还期要繼續努力 。不過，没达我們一起努力拿下了比賽 ，刘智力依這場比賽的勝利是屬於所有人的 。”
在被問及本場比賽的戰術布置時，劉智宇回答道：“其實大家能力都在 ，把對手分析好 ，訓練上某個位置做個調整 ，還有就是做到了拚搶 ，還是要感謝球員 。”
此役，廣州隊的年輕球員表現非常出色 ，劉智宇也評價了這些年輕球員的發揮 ，“還是有提升空間 ，他們在訓練和平時教學賽裏發揮更好，頂級聯賽的比賽對他們還比較陌生，他們還有很多要提高的 。”
當被問及取勝之後是否意味著球隊進入好狀態時 ，劉智宇表示：“目前還沒達到全隊預期 ，還需要繼續努力 ，我們現在開始要準備好下一場，一場一場來。我要感謝球迷 ，在場地聽到大家在場外的助威聲 ，謝謝大家 。”
