卡塔爾世預賽亞洲區40強賽A組餘下賽事將於5月30日至6月15日在蘇州舉行 。国足国金中國隊將於5月30日晚迎戰本階段賽事的世预赛首哨首個對手關島隊 。亞足聯按照慣例於賽前確認了本場比賽的战主执法中超裁判員執法安排信息 。來自泰國的裁敲西瓦功·布烏東將執法中關之戰 ，對於中國隊來說 ，定泰多场他也是联赛個“熟臉”裁判 。
受疫情影響，国足国金卡塔爾世預賽亞洲區40強賽餘下絕大多數比賽采用集中賽會製 。世预赛首哨按照防疫規定，战主执法中超作為比賽官員的裁敲賽事裁判員比賽期間也必須全程進駐在完全封閉的賽區防疫紅區內 。共有14名裁判接受亞足聯的定泰多场指派來華執法，其中有6名裁判員（具備主裁、联赛第4官員執法資格） 、国足国金8名助理裁判員 。世预赛首哨
資料顯示 ，战主执法中超這6名裁判員大多是“熟臉” ，甚至曾多次來華執法中超比賽或執法中國隊的比賽 。而執法5月30日晚中 、關比賽的當值主裁便是泰國“金哨”西瓦功 。
去年10月 ，泰國媒體曝出消息稱 ，西瓦功曾接到了中國足協有關執法上賽季中超聯賽第2階段賽事的邀請。不過受疫情影響，西瓦功最終婉拒了這份邀約 。
當然 ，西瓦功與中國足球的緣分不淺 。 2013年初 ，西瓦功首次晉升為國際級裁判後不久 ，就接到了中國足協的邀請 ，來華執法了部分中超聯賽比賽 。他執法的第1場中超比賽是2013年中超聯賽第3輪天津泰達與浙江綠城的比賽。隨後他還執法過當季第6輪北京國安與貴州人和的比賽、第20輪武漢卓爾對長春亞泰的保級關鍵戰。
西瓦功執法中國國字號球隊的最近一場比賽 ，是2019年12月18日在韓國進行的東亞杯賽第3輪中國隊與中國香港隊的比賽 ，當時中國隊以2比0取勝 。作為亞足聯重點培養的精英裁判之一 ，西瓦功在業界的口碑不錯 ，中國隊對這位裁判的執法特點也非常了解 。
就實力而言，國足理應輕取關島隊 。而對國腳們來說 ，他們除了確保勝利外 ，更需要避免在這樣的比賽中領取不必要的紅黃牌 ，從而為接下來更重要的比賽打好基礎 。
