阿德裏安租借加盟 ，申花並沒有支付租借費用 ，雙方是以球員交換的形式完成了這筆交易 。除了已確定的厄瓜多爾外援博拉尼奧斯之外 ，蔣聖龍 、孫凱和陳釗也可能會租借至重慶當代。
上賽季租借至天津津門虎（天津泰達）的劉若釩 ，本賽季仍可能會外租鍛煉 ，他也沒有出現在球隊的訓練中 。從目前的情況看 ，劉若釩新賽季租借加盟中甲球隊成都蓉城的概率較大 。劉若釩出生於四川省南充市 ，一旦租借成功，也是為家鄉球隊效力。
除此之外，還有一名中後場的隊員也可能會外租 。此前，高迪已官宣加盟浙江隊（浙江綠城） ，朱建榮和周俊辰正隨青島（青島黃海）進行備戰 ，新賽季基本上會續租青島 。處理好球員的外租工作，尤其是幫助年輕隊員更好的鍛煉 ，是俱樂部未來一個多星期工作的重點。
