隊員王霜在發布會上首先恭喜巴西女足取勝 ，她表示 ，中國女足給巴西女足製造了一些威脅，其中有4個球擊中門框 ，“很顯然 ，運氣不在我們這邊 ，接下來還有兩場比賽 ，我們會調整好心態，朝著小組出線的目標努力 。”
根據賽程 ，接下來中國女足將於7月24日下午對陣讚比亞女足 。本屆奧運會12支女足參賽球隊被分入3個小組 ，每個小組的前兩名和成績最好的兩個小組第三名將獲得晉級八強的資格 ，因此隻要中國女足下一場擊敗讚比亞女足 ，仍然有小組出線的機會 。
