據西班牙電視節目El Golazo de Gol報道 ，斯踢伤格在本周四馬競全隊結束訓練後 ，菲该馬競小將菲利克斯開車離開訓練場 。尊重在門口一位馬競球迷對菲利克斯表示 ：“菲利克斯，马竞（在訓練中）去踢格列茲曼 ，球迷讓他受傷，让菲大家都不願看到他排在你之前首發。利克列兹”
而菲利克斯對此很不高興 ，斯踢伤格並指著這名球迷說 ：“你應該更加尊重格列茲曼。菲该”不過這名球迷並沒有改變態度 ，尊重而是马竞繼續對菲利克斯說 ：“別忘了去踢格列茲曼的脛骨 。”
格列茲曼在2013年首度加盟馬競，期間他作為主力前鋒幫助馬競奪得過歐聯杯冠軍 。但2016年格列茲曼拍攝紀錄片《決定》想要加盟巴薩，可是馬競和巴薩兩家俱樂部並未談妥 ，這影響了格列茲曼在馬競球迷心中的形象。2019年夏天格列茲曼終於如願加盟巴薩 ，不過在巴薩效力的幾個賽季他的表現沒有達到預期，隻得在本賽季重返馬競 。
在本周中的歐冠小組賽中，格列茲曼出場時遭到部分馬競主場球迷的噓聲。而馬競球迷協會主席愛德華多-費爾南德斯此前表示 ：“一部分球迷會噓他 ，這是肯定的 。因為有些東西幻滅了 ，過去他曾是我們的偶像 ，現在他隻是一個和其他人一樣的普通球員 。他的形象已經嚴重惡化，我們依然被他此前的所作所為傷害 。時間會讓我們的傷口痊愈 ，而他必須重新努力贏得我們的信任和愛 ，重新救贖自己。”
