加裏-內維爾批評法國踢得不知所謂 ：“瑞士遠比法國更了解這套戰術體係。岁基法國踢得完全沒有頭緒，恩嘲不少球員們壓根不知道該怎麽踢 。讽法上半場的這個丟球 ，也是徹頭徹尾的恥辱 。”
身為法國名宿的維埃拉，重點批評了法國上半場的表現 ：“這個上半場就是個災難，我們本希望法國踢出能量，踢得更堅定 ，但比賽中卻恰恰相反 ，我甚至認不出其中部分球員了 。大家會談論組織啊新戰術啊 ，但在球場上，必須體現出積極的態度 ，而這正是法國隊在上半場所欠缺的 。法國還有很長的路要走 ，我相信德尚在更衣室內會發火，因為他希望球員們能夠拿出更出色的表現 。”
