北京時間6月13日 ，欧洲西班牙媒體《阿斯報》消息稱 ，杯强如果西班牙能夠奪得今年夏天歐洲杯冠軍 ，夺冠那麽鬥牛士軍團的奖金獎金可達到5000萬歐元 ，西班牙足協會拿出一部分獎勵球員，无冠大概每位球員可拿到40萬歐元 。狮下
5000萬歐元獎金 ，血本是荷兰寒酸基於歐足聯早些時候公布的獎金細則 ，歐洲杯每支參賽球隊的超级參賽費925萬歐元，小組賽階段取勝一場150萬歐元獎金 ，欧洲戰平獎金75萬歐元 ，杯强進入16強的夺冠獎金為200萬歐元 ，八強獎金325萬歐元 ，奖金半決賽獎金500萬歐元 ，无冠亞軍獎金700萬歐元，狮下冠軍獎金1000萬歐元 。西班牙媒體《阿斯報》算了一筆賬 ，如果鬥牛士軍團奪得歐洲杯冠軍，獎金總額最高達到3400萬歐元。如果算上讚助商提供的獎金 ，那麽西班牙奪得歐洲杯冠軍 ，金額高達5000萬歐元 。
如果西班牙奪得歐洲杯冠軍 ，那麽球員們會獲得多少獎金呢？2008年歐洲杯 ，西班牙奪冠時 ，每位球員拿到了21.4萬歐元的獎金 。2012年歐洲杯，西班牙成功衛冕後 ，足協獎勵每位球員30萬歐元的獎金 。據悉 ，如果西班牙奪得隊史上第四個歐洲杯冠軍，那麽每位球員的獎金將達到40萬歐元 。不過 ，相比起西班牙奪得2010年世界杯時 ，每位球員的60萬歐元獎金 ，歐洲杯獎金還是少了一點 。
與其它國家隊相比 ，西班牙歐洲杯冠軍獎金已經不少了：奪標大熱門法國 ，每位球員的冠軍獎金僅為34萬歐元。德國與西班牙一樣 ，每位球員的冠軍獎金為40萬歐元 。此前從未歐洲杯奪冠的英格蘭 ，給每位球員的冠軍獎金為54萬歐元 。比利時給每位球員的奪冠獎金為43.5萬歐元 ，而荷蘭給每位球員的奪冠獎金隻有寒酸的20萬歐元 。葡萄牙的奪冠獎金尚未公布 ，如果他們衛冕成功的話 ，預計每位球員到手的獎金與法國差不多 。
