4月24日 ，国际國際足聯官網公布了東京奧運會足球項目的足联裁判名單 ，其中在20人視頻助理裁判名單中，傅明法东中國國際級裁判傅明入選，将执京奥這將是运出中國男子足球裁判在時隔17年之後，首次進軍世界大賽 。任视
此前就有國外媒體報道稱 ，频助判國際足聯已經敲定了執法今年東京奧運會男足賽的理裁14組裁判名單和執法女足比賽的14組裁判名單 。中國裁判傅明成為三名來自亞洲的国际視頻助理裁判之一 。這一消息在昨晚得到了國際足聯官網的足联認證 。
國際足聯官方公布了本次東京奧運會的傅明法东裁判名單，其中包括25名主裁判，将执京奥50名助理裁判和20名視頻助理裁判，运出值得一提的任视是 ，東京奧運會也是频助判首次使用視頻助理裁判的奧運會 。
盡管中國男足無緣奧運 ，但作為裁判的傅明能夠進軍奧運 ，也算是為中國男足多少掙回了一些顏麵 。這也是自2004年中國助理裁判、現任中國足協裁判部副主任劉鐵軍執法奧運之後 ，時隔17年再度第一位進軍奧運乃至世界大賽執法工作的中國裁判。
