北京時間8月31日 ，據《太陽報》報道，曝利利物浦正在認真評估在轉會窗口關閉前，物浦簽下國米中場布羅佐維奇的锁定可能性。
來自於意大利媒體的国米给钱消息稱 ，紅軍主帥克洛普希望能夠簽下布羅佐維奇 ，曼联卖從而填補維納爾杜姆自由身離隊後 ，选C选紅軍在中場中路位置出現的曝利可能的真空 。
在上個賽季中 ，物浦布羅佐維奇幫助國際米蘭贏得了久違了的锁定意甲冠軍 ，目前藍黑軍團正在籌謀與他續約 ，国米给钱因為克羅地亞人與國米的曼联卖合同將在明年夏天到期 ，盡管他目前的选C选合同中包含有6000萬歐的違約金條款 ，但是曝利英格蘭媒體認為，或許600萬鎊就可以搞定之。
值得一提的是 ，這並不是利物浦與有著B羅之稱的布羅佐維奇第一次傳緋聞，早在簽下蒂亞戈之前 ，事實上紅軍就將布羅佐維奇當做這筆交易的B方案，而在更早之前的意甲聯賽中 ，利物浦就已經派遣球探細致考察了他的表現了 。
