李鐵的前國腳身份和師從裏皮的經曆 ，被認為是本土主帥的“天花板” 、國足帥位上的不二人選 ，但陣容與戰術上的搖擺不定 ，用人一根筋地信任顏駿淩 、於大寶 、張稀哲甚至是武磊，最終交出了高昂的學費 。
