以上幾名球員的冠軍個數與若日尼奧相比差距較大 ，而若日尼奧本人也暗示了對金球獎的渴望 ：“我們都有夢想 ，但是老實說 ，是否贏得金球獎取決於評選標準 。我無法將自己與梅西 、C羅以及內馬爾進行比較 ，他們與我有不同的特點 。如果金球獎取決於技術 ，我不是世界最佳球員 。但如果取決於誰贏得更多獎杯 ，那麽沒人比我贏得的獎杯更多 。”
