Has another Spotify Wrapped come and gone where your top songs and artists were distorted by the ambient noise you listen to while you sleep or the tunes your kids like? There's a fix for that.
SEE ALSO:After a year of new AI features, Spotify Wrapped 2023 celebrates the 'real stuff'The streaming giant has the option for you to remove playlists from your "Taste Profile," which is how Spotify defines the music you like. When you exclude music from your Taste Profile, it won't impact what Spotify recommends to you as much. Additionally, songs and artists on playlists removed from your Taste Profile won't be in your top songs or artists on your Wrapped, but they will contribute to your total time listening. However, if you listen to the songs outside of the playlist, it will still be included in your Taste Profile.
Once you remove a playlist, it will take 48 hours before it is actually withdrawn from your Taste Profile. Note that if you exclude a playlist from your Taste Profile now, the changes won't be reflected in your Spotify Wrapped for this year — but at least next year's will be more accurate.
Here's how to exclude a playlist from your taste profile.
Happy listening!
