北京時間5月3日 ，林加據《曼徹斯特晚報》報道 ，德告多次曼聯臨時主帥朗尼克稱 ，别战林加德未能在主場對陣布倫特福德的没机比賽中上演告別秀是因為他平時缺少訓練 。今年29歲的场朗林加德預計在6月合同到期後離開曼聯 ，但這位曼聯青訓球員卻沒能在賽季最後一場主場比賽中獲得上場時間 。尼克

賽後 ，林加德的哥哥路易在社交媒體上發文指責球隊拒絕讓林加德上場的行為沒有任何風度 ，並稱現在的曼聯就是由一幫“連越位陷阱都不懂的門外漢”把持著 。
林加德曾在2011年代表曼聯青年隊獲得青年足總杯冠軍 ，在2016年足總杯決賽中打入製勝球 ，在2017年聯賽杯決賽中斬獲一球 ，並在當年的歐羅巴聯賽決賽中登場。
