在最近一場12強賽中 ，中國男足1-1戰平沙特隊，毅中前國腳範誌毅在節目中點評了這場比賽 。国足範誌毅認為 ，脸面中國足球不應該考慮一場比賽的需业結果 ，更多應該想著以後怎麽辦 。内人也不要想著所謂的士用臉麵 ，中國足球很困難 ，不懈需要業內人士用不懈的志去鬥誌去挽回中國足球的臉麵 。
複盤中沙之戰 ，范志範誌毅直言 ，毅中國足沒有派歸化球員，国足不是脸面最強陣容 ，在沒有出線可能的需业情況下 ，球員的内人心態比較好 ，球員比較放得開 。範誌毅認為 ，派上年輕球員的決策是正確的 ，也是為了2023年亞洲杯或後麵的世預賽做準備 。
談到國足上半場被對手所壓製 ，範誌毅表示跟球隊戰術思路有關 ，範誌毅表示 ：“沙特沒有全部主力，球員顯得格外輕鬆 ，國足通過不懈努力扳平了比分 ，祝賀他們 。半場演練是因為我們的戰術打法思路的問題 ，李指導派出的是532陣容 ，我覺得這都是一種鍛煉 ，就是要跟強隊去比拚一下，知道自己的差距在什麽地方 。隻要思想統一了 ，不管付出多大的代價 ，最後的結果還是好的 ，看到最後兩場我們的一些變化 。”
隨後 ，範誌毅強調 ，“現在的國足不要考慮一場比賽的結果，更多的是我們今後怎麽辦。整場比賽的打法和我們今後對亞洲足球的認識是最重要的。”範誌毅還表示 ，國足和沙特隊之間的差距肯定是顯而易見的 。
至於比賽的結果是否滿意 ，範誌毅沒有明確表示，他說道 ：“為了中國足球的臉麵 ，我覺得大家不要這樣去想 ，中國足球也有輝煌的時候 。中國足球現在是很困難 ，還是需要業內人士用不懈的鬥誌去挽回中國足球的臉麵 。”
最後談到國足新老交替 ，範誌毅直言這是每一支隊伍都會碰到的 ，“年輕球員通過這樣的比賽得到鍛煉 ，可能補充到國家隊當中 ，我們的理念 、行為都要更新 ，更接近於當今的足球 、亞洲足球，另外還要提高球員的技術和意識理念 。”
