北京時間4月11日晚 ，穆帅熱刺將在英超第31輪聯賽中坐陣主場迎戰強敵曼聯。不担賽前 ，联获熱刺主帥穆裏尼奧參加新聞發布會時表示 ，点积度不擔心曼聯經常獲得點球的极适事 ，球員們要積極地適應比賽的赛难難度和尺度 。

隨後 ，穆裏尼奧進一步談到了曼聯經常贏得點球一事 ：“我們不能總是帶著擔憂的情緒去參加任何一場比賽 ，我認為這不是正確的參賽姿態 。所以，我並不會擔心曼聯獲得點球這件事兒 ，我也不希望我的球員們去擔心 。我們必須帶著積極的心態去參加比賽 ，去適應比賽的難度和尺度 ，要很好的承壓 ，這就是我想要的 。我希望能夠以積極的態度和愉悅的心情與這樣一支如此強大的豪門球隊交手 ，希望球隊懷揣著雄心去積極的迎戰 。”
穆裏尼奧同時更新了球隊的傷病信息：“慶幸的是 ，本場比賽隻有本-戴維斯和多爾蒂無法參加比賽，其他球員都可以出戰 。”曼聯如今積60分排名聯賽第二位 ，熱刺積49分排名聯賽第六位。
