距離中國隊12強賽與日本隊的比賽已經過去一天 ，但關於這場比賽的归化光討論並沒有停止 ，在9月8日北京電視台《天天體育》節目中，血性西人評論員王速再度複盤了這場比賽 ，没用他表示 ，看巴日本隊打中國隊好像國安上了十個比埃拉 ，斗志像小學生踢大學生的京媒感覺 。
首先通過技術統計複盤中日之戰 ，归化光尤其是血性西人上半場和全場的技術統計進行對比，王速表示：“在第一場比賽之後 ，没用通過隊內總結得到共識 ，看巴我們低估澳大利亞隊了，斗志今天不知道是京媒不是又總結，我們是归化光不是高估日本隊了？這支日本隊的確不是曆史最好的，甚至是血性西人實力排名靠後的日本隊，我們開場就擺出來一副 ，像拳擊台兩個拳手 ，開場就躲在角落裏挨打的狀態 ，隻要你不打死我 ，仿佛比的就是抗擊打能力 ，這個可能也是球迷感觸最深的 。”
“日本隊這場除了守門員 ，其他球員都壓過了半場 ，就這好像是國安上了十個比埃拉 ，或者是五個比埃拉 ，五個奧古斯托 ，像小學生踢大學生的感覺。”王速繼續說道，“中國隊三次射門 ，如果不是複盤的話很容易淡忘，武磊的第一腳射門很多人沒有印象 ，如果打澳大利亞我們過於冒進了 ，這場是不是過於保守了 ？其實並不是這樣的 ，我們有心攻出去 ，但其實幾次傳球就被扼殺在搖籃裏 ，中場都過不去 ，這就有點對不上壓的感覺了 。”
談到4名歸化球員的表現 ，王速表示 ：“第一場阿蘭和洛國富沒上 ，這場換上後又是一片讚揚之聲 ，不知道大家在讚揚什麽？的確在態度上，鬥誌上沒有問題 ，但歸化球員難道是為了看巴西人的鬥誌嗎 ？並不是 ，如果看中鬥誌不如讓戴琳 、秦升 、李建濱上 ，歸化球員是為了解決前場的問題 ，大家都說阿蘭和洛國富上了場麵不一樣了，日本隊的攻勢被壓製住了，但是起到了什麽效果呢 ？對比賽本身有多大幫助呢 ？”
12強賽兩場戰罷 ，國足因淨勝球少於越南，在B小組排名墊底 ，談到國足接下來第三個對手越南隊，王速表示 ：“大家更關心的是打越南會是什麽樣 ，這兩場越南隊的比賽我都看了 ，你可以把越南看做是弱隊 ，但是特點鮮明，充滿鬥誌和戰鬥欲望的弱隊 ，如果你拿這支越南隊還當做是越南隊打，結果不會特別好 。”
