北京時間9月29日，中超第18輪的低级的努一場補賽 ，申花和大連人迎來了吳金貴和謝暉的失误師徒之戰 ，結果申花隊在比賽最後時刻3分鍾內憑借朱建榮的抹杀梅開二度 ，完成大逆轉 ，全队前对期待取得這場比賽的力赛勝利。賽後謝暉表示 ，比赛隊員的结果低級失誤導致了比賽的結果 。
謝暉說 ：“我們隊進了球之後不知道怎麽踢了 ，充满我數了數 ，谢晖18輪聯賽 ，低级的努有5-6場比賽會出現這種問題 ，失误有些球員出現一些低級失誤 ，抹杀這樣的全队前对期待失誤，沒辦法總結 ，力赛場上球員付出的努力 ，被低級失誤抹殺掉 。我們在後防線上到了低位 ，問題多的不得了，還需要通過訓練去改進。”
謝暉坦言賽前對於比賽結果有所期待 。“因為這是我們的主場，我們主場沒輸過 。從結果上我確實是有期待 ，對手有傷病 ，人員也捉襟見肘 。今天的比賽場麵上我們也打得有優勢 。當然 ，申花心態更好 ，效率也更高 ，我們的心態還像深陷保級泥潭 ，每個人像輸了一場不能輸的比賽 ，好幾次發現這種情況 ，讓我感覺比較詫異。”
對於曼佐基的出場時間問題 ，謝暉表示 ：“他到隊才第三周 ，如果打太長時見 博桑那樣的事情 ，我也期待他打90分鍾 ，但情況不允許 。”（裴力）
